Introduction
Introduced in 2015, Canada's Express Entry system organizes immigration applications for the various immigration programs managed by the Express Entry system. To be considered for these programs, an applicant first submits an Express Entry profile to the applicant pool. All Express Entry profiles are ranked against each other via the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) which assigns each candidate a CRS score out of a total of 1,200 points.
What is Express Entry?
Express Entry is an online system used by the Canadian government to organize and process applications for skilled workers who wish to immigrate to Canada and acquire Canadian permanent resident status.
What are the requirements for Express Entry?
In general, to be eligible to apply for Express Entry as a skilled worker, you must:
Have at least one year, within the last 10 years, of continuous full-time (or part-time equivalent) professional experience in a qualified profession.

Be able to demonstrate on an approved language test a minimum of seven Canadian Language Proficiency Levels (CLB) in English or French.
Post-secondary education completed and assessed against Canadian standards with an educational credential assessment
How much does Express Entry cost?
The cost of immigrating to Canada via Express Entry is approximately $2,300 CAD for a single applicant, or approximately $4,500 CAD for a couple. The cost breakdown includes,
